Cabure Chocolate Experience

Those who genuinely appreciate chocolate will thoroughly enjoy this informative and interactive tour of the chocolate-making process from bean to bar. The tour takes place at Café Caburé, an Argentine restaurant, chocolatier, and coffee shop in the center of Old Monteverde. Caburé Chocolatier is run by a veteran of the Peace Corps who fell in love with Costa Rica and decided to stay. In addition to in-depth information about the history and chemistry of the chocolate-making process, visitors can sample the raw cacao nibs and participate in truffle-making.
